I use a set of ugly PHP files I wrote along with a PostgreSQL database to store everything; pretty nifty as it's fully searchable/sortable in whatever way I could possibly imagine, and it's pretty eas ...

Keep up the good work, xo!

I've been unlucky enough to have to live with 56k modem (Without flat-rate, yay) this summer so downloading everything and its dog from abma/aba will be a rather big impossiblity. Luckily I have a li ...

Well, the earlier Rave releases by Choco-Fansubs were rather bad in terms of video quality, but that's what you get when whoever encodes have no clue of what they're doing. I have to say the recent R ...

I personally prefer ZombieNation, they're far from perfect, but compared to the crap SI released it's very good. The joint project between aj&aku/apx seems mostly focused on eyecandy if you ask m ...

I don't think it really has anything to do with what graphics card you have, as long as it fully supports hardware overlays. I know some Matrox drivers have problems with that at times, but what usual ...

A little correction (has nothing to do with .hack//sign though). Chikara-Fansubs is not the same 'CF' that is fansubbing Rave. Choco-Fansubs are the ones doing Rave. I don't recall ever seeing any ...

One of my friends noticed the exact same thing, and it turned out to be because his Windows was set to 16bpp. I've never encountered a DivX4 encode that would have these problems, but I guess they do ...

I've seen that set being sold on eBay a lot, it's yet another of them HK releases. I've not seen it myself, so I can't say anything about the quality, but considering not all Ghibli movies are out on ...

I don't have much experience with capturing myself either, but I guess it largely depends on what capturing card you have, and the quality of the source. When I did some captures with an old TV card ...
