Dear anime junkies can you please stop encoding all the good anime
some of us want to see quality anime Not butchered anime
save it for the groups that know what they're doing and when you see a raw..please don't think about encoding it thank you very much

Hmm... It might be more profitable to encourage them (nicely) to improve their quality, if you think it is lacking.

Of course your implication is that AJ's subbing activities somehow inhibit other, hypothetically *better*, subs. I've never noticed that one subbing group’s activities does much to inhibit another group’s actions. If they happen to be the only group doing a specific anime (because of licensing concerns, etc.), giving you no choice as to what version to grab, just because, at your *suggestion*, they stop all operations, there is no reason to assume someone else will step in to continue with that series. If your concerns are more about wasted ng BW and duplicated efforts, well, that problem never seems to go away.

It's more or less that AJ has taken up more projects than it can do reasonably and therefore the quality is lacking. Recently though, a number of groups have started picking up stuff that AJ was doing (AYA, Chobits and Rah). AJ has also started doing stuff that other groups were already doing quite well (G-On, Saikano) too... bleh.

I'm not much of a judge of quality though, I prefer 80 meg encodes at low bitrates. ( ;
