I upgraded phpBB to 2.0.0 and tried to carry over my tweaks (that I could remember) and images (the avatars). Seems to be fine, but if you notice any odd glitches that didn't exist before, let me know.

Is there something wrong with the avatar image uploading, or did you disable that function?
Whenever I try to upload an avatar, I get an error message containing an unusually long string of alphanumeric characters (hex codes?) for the filename and a "permission denied". If it was just "permission denied," I'd understand that, but I see a broken image icon where the avatar should be in my profile; and those people who have their avatars working have 2 digit numbers as their pic's filename, which I suspect corresponds to their user number...? |

Do'h!
You're right, permissions weren't set properly on the upload folder. I've corrected it so it should work now.
