The title should say it all... how many episodes were there in the Hunter x Hunter TV series? AKU has fansubbed up to episode 62, and I haven't seen anything past that posted (not including the OAVs). I'm terribly uninformed about this series, and I've only watched up to 45 or so (I'm following the manga), so I don't even know if the series is over or not (or if it's even still continuing in Japan).

Thanks to anyone who can answer this. Embarassed

62 tv eps, 8 oavs. My understanding (from reading the manga) was that the author was dissappointed at the tv series ending (which means it was a viewership issue rather than storyline).

Anyway, translated manga is avail here http://www.toriyamaworld.com though it hasn't quite caught up to the end of the OAV series. FWIW, the manga is still running.[/url]

ACK! I didn't think the OAV series had anything to do with the manga, so I didn't download it... Let's hope that they're still on Easynews' web nntp server...

Anyways, thanks for the information. Now I can burn this forlorn episode 62 off my hard drive without wondering if anything came after it. Very Happy

I was remiss in not pointing out that there are several good sources to answer these kinds of questions. I've seen many different ones, but I use http://www.animenfo.com which I find highly useful.

Regards...

It is really a good complimentry site to abma.d. And I finally just bothered to register there -- posted a *test* review of Witch Hunter Robin just to see how it works
