I started taking Japanese and have been playing around with Japanese language input and display on my Linux box. It's pretty cool
I know that on MacOSX it's a non-issue: it'll display just fine but I'm not sure about Windows.

I occasionally go on fanart downloading binges, and I got tired of looking at the rectangles on the nihongo homupage. It takes a few seconds to load the font because it's so big, but it looks much nicer than the rectangles it used to substitute for foreign characters.
(Re title: well, I wouldn't want my web browser to be able to display Japanese outside of itself.) <g> |

Man, I can't even say "it was late and my brain was fried" since the timestamp is there for all to see.
