Newbie Advice Guidelines

2. When posting with PP2K, always put the "$F" at the end of the subject line

When posting with PowerPost2000 (PP2K as it is generally known), it is always best to put the $F parameter last on the subject line, else the parsers in many news-readers can get confused-- they may not be able to discern the segment count from the part count (if it is included), and, thus can't determine the attachment name for auto-joining. Hence a fair number of people may see your post as hundreds of unjoined messages, requiring error prone manual-joins. This will cause many to just ignore your post out-of-hand, thus wasting BW. And some just plonk (filter you out) from the annoyance factor, which will never be of any help to you.
