I've just now watched the first episodes Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu, Licensed by Royal and Wolf's Rain.

MTNT looks like it's probably a keeper. Charming main character, interesting setting and nice art.

Wolf's Rain is also really interesting and I like the dark mood of the setting. Reminds me of Armitage and Blade Runner. The music selection is also unusual but good and really helps set the mood.

Licensed by Royal also has an unusual score, but they need to kick their sound technician - the music often nearly drowns out the characters' speech. As for the story, I dunno. I might give it another episode or two, but going by the first one it's probably not a keeper.

Huh! What in the world was I doing last week? I had made a mental note to keep an eye out for Mahou Tsukai ni Taietsu and Nanaka 6/17, but I for some reason didn't think they were posted. And people start talking about 'em here, and I'm like, "Where did they get these?" Look on AnimeUsenet and they were both posted like over a week ago.

I think I'm gonna have to start learning how to set Agent up with Watch filters o_O
