Hi, I'm just wondering,
I'm looking for a forum on my website and i think this one is pretty awesome. It looks like the FTD forum, so my question is, did you download this forumor did you rip it and made a lot changes yourself??
I can write some PHP..
Hope to hear,

This is really xo's to answer, but I think it's relatively stock phpBB:

I use it on my site as well. Very easy to use, very professional looking and operating, and best of all it's free and has a large user-support and modding community. |

Yeah, pretty much stock phpBB. I've tweaked the default skin (subSilver) in the header area and added some small tweaks to highlight new private messages and when posting as guest. And I added small icon view of avatars in the memberlist.
All were pretty easy if you have a passing familiarity with PHP and once you get a handle on the templating system they use. The hardest part is tracking which file is the one you want to edit because there's a complex system of includes, as is to be expected in any project of this scope.
I wish their HTML was cleaner - it's that ca. 1999 hodgepodge of nested tables and non-CSS based formating. But overall, I've been tremendously happy with the software.
