|
|
I've never seen this before, and I'm not entirely certain as to what it means-- last night I posted anti v-spam replies like I often do. A few minutes ago I loaded Agent and checked new messages. My replies weren't visible on the groups-- well, the subject lines were available, but there was an X to the left of the subject line, indicating that my replies were no longer available on the server.
Anybody have any clue as to what could cause this? I'm thinking of cancelled messages, someone reporting me as a spammer, or something like that... |

I just grabbed the following v-spam reply headers from Rogers(haven't checked Easynews yet). Are these any of the ones that disappeared on you?

One of the servers I use will sometimes list the headers for some messages, but upon attempted retrieval of those messages will say that they've either expired or aren't available. The problem usually fixes itself after a few minutes and another header pull. This particular server runs the NNTPcache software, so maybe its cache was out of sync temporarily. |

Hmmm... could've been those-- honestly, I don't remember which replies they were. The problem seems to have stopped, so I'm not too concerned about it. I think perhaps I replied to too many v-spams in one day, using the exact same text in each of my replies, and I think Shaw may have auto-blocked my message bodies fora while, or something... |
