I've posted many times with Power-Post 2000, and the Posting Result I always get is "240 Article Posted." Well, today when I posted I got "240 Got it" mixed together with "240 Article Posted." I searched for this, but didn't find anything. What does "240 Got it" mean? |

It probably means your news server admin is a bit of a joker and has been editing the status messages. I think the code number is all that's important, and the "got it" part is just there for user-friendliness. |

I'll admit that I've gotten this after posting on Easynews once. Shaw always seems to give me "240 - Article Posted". |

Like Gorunova says, the result code (240) is what's important. The posting programs don't look at anything else; the text after it is for human eyes. The Easynews crew customizes many of their messages, like the initial connect msg:
200 Welcome to Easynews. http://www.easynews.com (need authentication) (Zilla-NNTP v1.1.0-25 -- Typhoon sucks) |
