Hmm.. how far back does AUN.org go as far as usenet posts?
My first post according to AUN was back in March 2002, so I'd probably hazard to guess that I probably started watching the ng's late 2001 or early 2002. |

So, there certainly wasn't any logging going on at animeusenet.org before 29 May 2001,
since the domain didn't exist before that...   |

| The first post of mine, according to AUN, was 05/28/01 (May 28, 2001). That was when I was posting VCD#11 from Kimagure Orange Road. At the time, I was posting one VCD every 3-5 days, so that date's pretty close. |

Not quite. I was doing the logging manually for several months before that, and Matt imported my data. |

I worded that sentence in such a way that it would still be true if someone was logging
_before_ the existence of animeusenet.org ...
I guess your manual logging was higher volume, but less effort per logged item than the logging
Onakra did for a.b.sounds.anime (hard to find CD catalog-IDs, people for ex. posting
"GitS - SAC: Be Human" as "GitS - SAC: OST2" etc. ; it's a real miracle he managed
to do it all on his own for more than 2 years...) |
