Comcast love/hate

So, I look at my network utilization graphs and I see spikes the likes of which I've never seen before. I check my cable modem's internal web server and see this:

Hmm. DL went from 1800 to 3300. UL dropped from 300 to 260.

412 KB/sec- 700MB isos in about 30 minutes. That's pretty sick. That's also a very confusing message Comcast is sending to its users: hey, we're gonna give you lots of bandwidth, but we'll cut you off if you dare use it.

Unless my calculation is wrong, I should be able to download a TERABYTE a month or so at these rates.

Someone double check my math.
