Well, it finally happened, I got borde enough to watch it, and I was plesantly surprised. It's SO much better than the first one, and I was watching a dub too! Anyways, just thought I'd say it was a decent flick. It also has some cool villian attacks.
Now, just to clarify, I'm not saying this is the best thing I've ever seen, but it's ok.
oh yeah, sorry about spelling I'm too lazy to type this out in a word pro, then spell check it. |

It's not a dub, there is no Japanese audio track. It was shown in theatres JP subbed. But yea, I'd like the movie quite a bit too, I mean, even the plot was updated to a more modern theme :P |

I have to agree 100% with Highspar. I thought the original was OK, nothing spectacular and was expecting no better and probably worse for Bloodlust but was pleasantly surprised. The Markus Brothers were an interesting group and though the "special attack" aspect was cheesy in a video game sort of way, I have to admit finding it interesting- they were very cool.
Like Highspar: though I wouldn't say this was an exceptional movie, those who might be reluctant to see it based on the first one should give it chance.

First of all, there is not much out there that can top Bloodlust as far as animation quality goes. The story, being based off of one of the novels, was also really good. For once in my life, I enjoyed the English voice acting. The movie did have a few rough spots, but the artistic quality helped smooth those out. Pleasant surprise would be the best way to describe the entire movie. The first time D meets the Marx Bros is easily one of the best scenes I've ever seen animated. |
